Expectations for the class, feedback from my peers, and thoughts about the first class.
My expectations for the class: I’m not entirely sure yet. This is definitely different from what I’m used to in terms of instruction; in this class, the student’s create different instructional designs on different topics and then implement them throughout the semester. It’s interesting to be able to create OUR OWN objectives and evaluation standards. As for feedback from my peers, I really appreciate constructive criticism meaning say something that I did well first and then something to improve or adjust afterwards, if can 🙂
This past weeks discussion with my group was productive because we started designing our instructional design based on artificial intelligence (AI). I think it will be interesting to learn the different applications of AI in current educational settings and future applications of AI. The group dynamic is also great so far because Mellissa and Casey were in my Virtual Reality class from last semester. I think Kyle’s expertise in AI and Computer Science is beneficial to also keep us on track. I look forward to working with you guys!
